It would depend on who's going to be playing. With the Avs, Wings and the Leafs out in the first roundof the Stanley Cup, Sweden could potentially ice Forsberg, Lidstrom and Sundin. That's a pretty good group.

To get back to the point:

Canada will win, because ryan smith and 2 other oiler players will be there including steve staous(sp?) and i can't remember the last.

USA will not win... Sweden does not have Sundin or Forsberg (i think)... Finland pfft no one except selanne wait aki berg and jyrki Lumme HAHAHAHA.... Russia no one... Czech crap team now that jagr sucks and hasek gone...

Well, to be honest, Americans care little about hockey, in comparison to their other sports. And Canadians are still mostly looking at the Stanley cup, which many consider to be one of the hardest tournaments to win. To Canadians, the world championships are for those who don't do well in the Stanely Cup playoffs, or don't even get that far.

and addy, Finland does have alot of other good players as well, most well known (read: the NHL ppl) include:
2 NHL goalies (Hurme (Florida) and Nurminen (Atlanta))
Saku Koivu (captain of the Montreal Canadiens)

Aki Berg (Toronto)

So at least they have players, it does not mean of course that they play well together but it is a good team.
