Piss color vs. Dark color beers/ales and so on...

Many Dark beers that fall into different categories. How can it be summed up to one opinion? A Guiness or Beamish will taste much different from a Becks Dark.

Light colored beer...is this to be categorized as just beer or is it looked at as varied brewing styles for varied light colored beers...in fact beer is such a general term. What about breaking it down to Ales, IPA, ESB, Stout, Imperial Stouts, Tripples, Doubles, Barley Wine, Meade, Pilsner, Lager and so on.

I drink a pint or two with dinner and depending on what I am eating depends on the pint I will have. I personally do not drink to get drunk...and If it was a buzz I was looking for, why go to the trouble of drinking pint after pint...just do shots of Tequila or single malt Scotch.

well yeah, I have particular tastes that I like, but that's stupid to say that people don't drink beer to get a funny feeling in their head.

Maybe not drunk per se, but people drink beer for the taste and the effect it produces in the body. I was just saying that I haven't found a beer I dislike. Sure, I like some more than others, but I can't say there's a beer I wouldn't drink.

i said there ARE people. kids will be kids, i got that, and i still get drunk once in a while, but not on natural light.

I dunno....Was there a decision that will not allow for the image in a sig for Forum mod's? I can remove it at any time, but I thought since the other forum mods had them I would add one.

DA still has it on his, but I noticed PH removed his...dunno to be honest...not a big deal for me to remove if asked to do so.

Just wanted to bust out that gem from earlier in the thread before I mentioned.

Of course all three of these are Texas brewed beers and quite good, especially the Shiner Hefenweizen.

Blue Moon is good, Guiness is good, Harps is great, Strombough is alright, I like Newcastle and other dark beers.

Whenever I go out to drink I drink bud light, whenever I am actually trying to enjoy a beer I will go with one of the above generally.
