there's a rainbow outside. its sunny and still drizzling lightly. it's about 70F all week with humidity between 30 and 60%. making the north atlantic too cold to swim unless it's hot for a few weeks.
The effects that are planned to be studied on the kinetic level are: Laminar and turbulent flow; the transition between both; thermodynamics and self-organisation of complex plasma flows; solitons and shocks; interfaces and plasma instabilities; agglomeration and disagglomeration. For low-frequency excitation and confining particles modulated RF coils and high-voltage supplies are foreseen.

New England finally saw a sunny day today. First time in two weeks. I hope we don't have a wet summer, both my shade/partial/sun annuals are wilting from all of the rain. Hostas are still alive and kicking... of course... fricken big ass hostas. I'm actually less worried about the wilting then I am about the possible mold from all the moisture. I have to spray for deer, aphids, and now mold? I've literally spent around 2500 on my yard this year already, and that's without hiring one single person.

We go from temperatures in the mid 90s to tornado/severe thunderstorms on a semi daily basis.

                    Typical.

How big is your lot, dude? Garden over here is going gangbusters, if not for the occasional rabbit getting his chow on.

We live up on a woodland hill in Connecticut. About an acre of woods, a half acre of grass and a half acre of flowers, plants, fruits and vegetables. We're no farm, but we love our greenery.

My biggest problem this year is my 20x10 food shade garden (planted under an ancient maple). Boy do Impatients and Coleus love shade and rain, but you can only have so much of a good thing. Poor guys.

Like I said though, hostas are fucking rocking this year in the North East, I quaded a couple of my hostas back in april, and they look like brand new plants already. Our daylilies won't bloom though, anyone else having that problem?

Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, won't you shine on meeeee.

I would take 100+ degrees with 50% humidity over our 99 degrees and 88% humidity. It's so much fucking worse here. The sweat does not cool you off.

Just spent the weekend in dallas, where i sat in the shade on a 103 degree day, and was comfortable with a slight breeze. Doesn't matter where you are here you're going to be uncomfortably hot and sweaty. Cant wait to move from here.
