Jesus was rightly pointing out that denoting his role as the Son of Man as the Davidian king 'Christ' would be the cause of his death by the collective whim of Satan. He didn't say that it would be his cause of death because they didn't know him yet, as you correctly say.

What he was really getting at is that giving him the role of Christ was Satan's intent, that the egotistical display was his forthcoming purpose in the sword of morality, that he should die for that sin.

Jesus only intended the sense that the self is to give unanimously, not to take pride in the presence of the given.

It was all about the sensation of personal locality as the ego's downfall, rather than uprising. That he should be deemed the intellect as will over love would be his doom.

Actually, Satan wanted him killed yes, but that is because Satan overlooked that Jesus needed to die, to be the "lamb" for the slaughter. It was not satan's ploy that's for sure.

If you are going to debate religion, learn it first. Read up on it with theological or analytical eyes, it doesn't matter, but know what your quoting.

See the difference in the actual quotes instead of the segmented broken ones you tried to piece together as an argument? I can take any paragraph delete words at whim to change all meaning of the original context if I wanted too. And to clarify why Jesus said "get behind me Satan," it is because the "surely you shall not die!" statement from Peter. Jesus needed to die and be resurrected to be the messiah and 'save' everyone's soul . Otherwise, Christianity would have never taken place.

It should also be noted that Jehovah's response to Lucifer's plan was to assure God that Jehovah would do His will ("thy will be done"). Additionally Jehovah added "the glory be thine [God's] forever."

this sounds accurate from whatever i was haphazardly taught as a child. but why then is satan in control of the egotism displayed by the modern day christianity? i still think i've touched on the only true paradox in christianity, that the ego has been hijacked in metaphysical connotation. authoritative condemners by the name of the risen, extorting sadistically for what would otherwise have been satan's goal. people are even martyrs to the christian church these days. left handed homosexuals getting sodomized by faculty left and right. coming back to the scene to bash and expose them as the true scourge of humanity. i agree, if you judge on a town by town basis you probably won't find anyone except old people and behaved children, if not just a bit spoiled, attending the church. maybe a slightly vain or harsh pastor. but all of this moral conjuring is the opposite of useful, when capitalist society itself has rejected the primary notions and itself fuels upon one-upping the fellow man financially. it turned church into a place that wealthier people go when they don't need to be street smart. salvation only for the plump and feint hearted. all of the real justification for living comes from raw materialistic hedonism, with the direct approach against the apprehension of punishment. jesus was originally advocating freedom, but only for people who didn't view him as Satan would be viewed if he had gotten his way.

maybe Satan's status as fallen got some of it's way after all, in the collective will. We destroyed the savior and changed his title for Satan's 'relief effort'. perhaps Jesus should have continued healing the 100,000 sick and dying people who flocked to his house. They were in such massive droves that Jesus locked himself in his house, but they crawled on his roof and tore off the thatching and fell in like rats. Perhaps Jesus shouldn't have gone and gotten himself sacrificed. Moments before he dies, he asks the father why he is forsaken. if i weren't a gnostic, i'd be a firm devotee to the church of satan. they attend with the united belief that they have been unrightfully apprehended. they resolve only through non-violence and volition to feel they can be together away from the decrees on their freedom. they oppose the arbitrary and arcane purposes or functions of the abrahmic 'god'. they believe that only human nature is to be upheld as sacred, and any consternation dished by the christian groups on children (teens and adults too) should be scorned and sought assembly against. any christian who imposes their beliefs in a harmful way can be worshipped against by the satanists. the rituals appeal to the suppressed darker side of the human conscious while abstaining from the exposural harm cast by christian influence. satanists are primarily adults who feel the need to pray against the false atonement of those who have caused them harm, to feel personally at ease.
