People already figured UFOs out. They're obviously electromagnetic, transition class metals arising and transferring by a conductive means. They are produced by supernovae and volcanos exclusively. Since supernovae only happen around the center of the milky way and we're like 50K light years away, we can reasonably conclude the orbs to be terrestrial metal aggregates from volcanism following tectonics and gravity-flux anomalies beside mountains. Everyone knows these metals levitate by magnetic resonance. What we seem unaware of is that in massive quantities acting as a single crystal, they would respond to plasma energy vortices.

Here's a theory of my own. Maybe they're orbs that are transferring between gravitational anomaly via 'interdimensional' portals. They first appear where the plasma energy vortices meet, and aggregate by harmonics with the surface soil's high resonance metals from the nearby volcano. They develop oscillatory patterns to reciprocate the signal from the accumulating Langmuir waves from atmospheric particulates. They transgress population inversion, into a completely charged state, and make the tunnel transfer when the double plasma layer in the iono/magnetosphere has it's structure changed by solar wind bursts, forming a vertical wave, which would otherwise manifest in lightning or charged solar wind escaping back to space. The portals define the 2 dimensional edges of the plasma layers, acting as magnetic rope, which the orbs pass on at a million miles per hour after charging. Ions traveling a tunnel from one location to the next does necessarily count as an interdimensional portal. The most we could ever do to capture and study the orbs would be to post cameras and hydrogen masers at every known UFO mountain base. Try to shoot one out of it's charging state.
If we do nothing we'll only have ghost stories from people who deserve to be abducted and anally probed. We need some proactive civilians to breach what government affiliations thought we were too stupid to work out. We need recorded prediction of appearance and technical devices to test their precise EM capacity, in hopes to disrupt enough to cause shattering to recollect samples. Maybe they did it in Roswell but the media glam was too high to pass on anything but myth. I think we have enough disheartening with media glam to surpass this half-century-old misdiagnosis.
