I will call a TW player elite if he/she

1)ranks in the top 100 in belim OR elim

AND

2)Has publically recognised skills in at least 2 of the basing ships (NOT jav if he/she plays belim, NOT wb if he/she plays elim)

Elim doesn't prove shit, besides how much patience you have.

Definition of elite is winning a championship with a squad, or, if you don't do that, proving over several years over and over that you are hella good. This usually applies to wbs and javs, since you can't really be "elite" in basing, since it is WAY too team orientated, you can only catagorize a squad as being "elite" in basing.

That is about right I think.. unless I'm too tired.

Wb and jav are very much teambased. Basing just values teamwork over individual talent. But in many ways a wb or jav squad cannot win without teamwork.

Agreed.

Well in basing you can be elite and not win any championship, but if the rest of your team isn't elite, you lose anyway and don't really look elite at all. So then it's very hard to notice if someone is elite. If you are elite in wbs/javs, you still can pull a 15:10 when the rest of your team fucks up. Though that could also mean that you don't help your teammates one bit, or they just suck. -_-
