That was the highest anyone has won in terms of percentage of votes since Bush 41 and the largest margain of popular vote since Regan ran a second time. In addition he had 69 million people vote for him, more than have voted for any candidate ever.

So yeah, I'd say he has a VERY large base.

you're absolutely right. It had nothing to do with his platform, his charismatic nature or the fact that he was running against Cotton and Peggy Hill.

His platform as in, the government will give you everything you ever need, the government is going to give you food, houses, clothes, prostitutes, free health care, and never have to work for it. No wonder everyone who doesn't work voted for the guy. And 7,700,000 million black people voted for him out of that 70 million, that is about 10% of his votes. And lets also not forget the millions of fake votes courtesy of Acorn, so lets go ahead and say that 75% of the people who voted for him had no clue what he stood for, they just thought he was cool, knew he was black, or couldn't want to get the free stuff they were entitled to by living off of welfare. A truly great decision making process leading to a truly great president I suppose.
