This treacherous HR-45 Bill must be stopped dead in its tracks!!

Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040
federal tax form, all guns that you have or own. It may require
fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun.
To find out about this - go to any government website and type
in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record
of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.

Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any
rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless: -It is registered -You
are fingerprinted -You supply a current Driver's License -You
supply your Social Security # -You will submit to a physical &
mental evaluation at any time of their choosing -Each update -
change or ownership through private or public sale must be
reported and costs $25 - Failure to do so you automatically
lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in
jail.

As a gun owner, i dont have a problem with this stuff as long as its done while purchasing the gun. The fact they want to tax something that you have already purchased is just down right fucking retarded.

Ive also heard obama wants to numberize every single peice of ammunition and i am strongly against this. When me and my friends go out shooting we already spend hundreds of dollars on ammo just for the weekend, and im getting sick and tired of liberal faggots wanting to raise the price and tax everything that has to do with my sport.

I don't see a prob with knowing who owns what guns, especially some of the people that own guns such as an M107 .50 Cal gun.

Taxing them is somewhat odd, but as far as adding a tax on a newly purchased gun, I see no prob with that either.

If the gun laws would allow for certain, now legal, assualt weapons to be removed from public sale perhaps this would not be such an issue.

I just do not understand why it upsets so many people, as I see nothing wrong with owning hunting rifles, pistols and such, but why the .50 caliber guns? what's the point, especially for a guy that they may discover is on our terror list that went out and purchased one in a state that does not require a waiting period and or background check.

If all states had a uniform method of gun purchasing, then perhaps this bill being introduced would never be an issue.

The bill will get scrutiny and will need to be re-worded several times I am sure.

If this bill works to enact sensible gun control legislation but does not seek to ban guns, then perhaps it should be looked at with a bi-partisan view and not from the back pocket of the NRA lobbyist in the elected officials front pocket massaging his member.

It's a hoax. Senate bill 2099 doesn't exist. The latest bill is still numbered in the 1600s. H.R. 45 does exist though, but is getting little to no support.
