    iPhone.

Why or why, am I addicted to those highly retarded iPhone games? I have been playing the couple of games I had downloaded yesterday for the past 4 hours. Gees, I really need to grow up :fear:

so i got my env touch, and i'm loving it! been hacking away at it for the last few days. i've got wallpapers and ringtones taken care of. now i'm working on a custom theme. it's a fun phone, and as soon as my zagg invisible shield arrives, it should prove to be pretty durable, too.

the touch screen's a lot more responsive than i had hoped for. i actually like to text from the front screen quite a bit, instead of opening 'er up and using the internal qwerty keyboard.

only complaint thus far is the speakers, but that's a very common complaint across the board with mobile phones. with both speakers being on the inside of the phone, even with the volume on high, my ringtones sound a bit muffled. i tried a ton of tweaking in audacity to make up the difference, but if i crank up the gain too much i get distortion and the tones sound a bit crappy.

overall, i'm impressed. it's not going to compete with an iphone, of course, but it wasn't ever meant to. i don't need a smart phone just yet. i prefer to do my web browsing at a form factor at least the size of a netbook.

on a side note, after a span of a few years wherein i made very little use of technology (barely used the internet more than once or twice every three or four months, didn't own a computer, no cell phone, no tv), i have to say it's strange to be getting back into the swing of things.

I must say, even though I like my phone, and the touchscreen is excellent IMO (I got the protective shield already!), now that I have started to use my iTouch as an agenda and stuff, I should have bought an Iphone because this thing is quite handy and carrying 1 thing around is always easier than 2 things.

I still think my phone is great though, it doesn't have a qwerty board on the touchscreen, but a normal 1 to 0 keypad for texting and I am faster on that on the touchscreen than if I would slide it up and use the real keys. So I am not to bothered it not having a qwerty keyboard. Although I can type pretty well on the itouch as well.
