Cellular Phone Problem I've had all my life.

I've gone through many phones but this problem just keeps getting worse and worse.
Back in the day I used to have a flip phone and when I had low battery it would just flash a little light.
Now skip forward to the future, these fucking smart phones, when I get low battery the screen turns on which wastes more damn battery!
There is no way to disable it and it just keeps flashing and making noises that consume energy and then bam my battery is dead.
Anybody else ever have this problem?

on topic:
my phone was fully charged at 7AM thismorning. It's now 12:40 pm and it's completely dead. I need to control myself with these apps Someone lent me their charger though so now it's charging

My Curve 8900 has never lasted fewer than 4 days before needing a recharge. I make constant use of GPS, games, instant messaging and email but I don't run up a lot of voice minutes which might explain why it lasts so long.

My Motorola flip phone beeps no matter what when the battery is low. If I have that thing on silent, it BEEPS. Pretty annoying.

buy a new battery, they arent expensive, and if u have a new battery that shit will last plenty of time i dont care what phone u have.
