I am not into perfumes, but don't worry you are not the only one who is bored at the moment.

I need to feel the passion for a person/in a thing. Currently there is nothing there.

Although life can be much worse ... just completed my 40km biking event this morning, off to a holiday the next weekend, kayaking the following.

But deep inside I have this craving, to have the hot lava of passion running through my veins. Life is boring without hope, hope works best on things desired the most.

TelCat, sounds like you need some romance in your life. It's really cheesy, but when I'm bored I read the Craigslist personals.... it can be very entertaining. You never know who you might hook up with there. Actually I met a handsome Arab guy there just a few days ago. I doubt that I'll actually meet him, seeing as how I already have a man, but it's fun to flirt over email and answer each other's questions...

I know what you mean about having hope. But remember, it's only when we let go of our cravings for something better... that we can be truly happy. Try not to crave things that you don't have. Instead, lose your attachment to your cravings and maybe you'll start to lose interest in the things you don't have. I know it's easier said than done.

Obviously you have misunderstood my previous post. When I speak 'passion' I don't mean just any cheap romance. If I was so desperate for a man I would have never told the guy I was seeing for the past few months I just wanted to be friends when he wanted to take the relationship further. And I would have never dated him if I did not think he was kind of cute and sort of interesting. But to me, simply 'like' someone is not enough for me to get into a long term relationship. I have to be head over heel in love with him.

Online flirting, oh God! How do you know the 'handsome Arab guy' who you were chatting to, were not indeed a 60 yo obese American dude who posted fake pic/profile in order to get some young chicks :fear:
