Tone you need to chillout. Yes the world is a shitty place. Yes authoritive bodies are corrupt and dishonest. Yes most people are too stupid to realise. But you are never going to change the inevitable.
My suggestion is to stop focusing on the negative. There is still plenty of good around, especially in local communities. Try volunteering for somekind of community group, you will be amazed at how it can revitalise your spirit and change your outlook on the world.

The chemical companies Dow and Monsanto, responsible for manufacturing and supplying napalm to the US government during the Vietnam war use ingredients made to create napalm in their pesticide. Remnants of the toxins can be found in every mass market food type; fruit, vegetable, and meat (from feed), as well as in the packaging:
"Tangerines generally do not have good keeping quality.... To prolong storage life, pads impregnated with the fungistat, diphenyl, have been placed in shipping cartons. The chemical is partly absorbed by the fruit and Federal regulations allow a residue of only 110 ppm. Storage trials have shown that washed and waxed 'Dancy' and 'Sunburst', with 2 pads per carton, absorbed more than 110 ppm in 2 weeks at 70º F (21º C)...Storage of unwashed 'Dancy' fruits for 2 weeks at 39.2º F (3º C) with 1 pad per carton showed diphenyl absorption below the legal limit. Unwashed 'Sunburst' fruits with 2 pads can be stored 4 weeks without absorbing excessive diphenyl. Early-harvested tangerines are less susceptible to decay but apt to absorb an excess of diphenyl."
Quebec banned the use of products containing 2,4-D, which is an ingredient of Napalm and is manufactured by Dow. http://montreal.about.com/b/2009/03/...-pesticide.htm

The effects of these pesticides on the environment is to a point of such cataclysmic damage that our own health and prolonged existence on earth is endangered.
"In the United States, pesticides were found to pollute every stream and over 90% of wells sampled in a study by the US Geological Survey.[12] Pesticide residues have also been found in rain and groundwater.[3] Studies by the UK government showed that pesticide concentrations exceeded those allowable for drinking water in some samples of river water and groundwater.[13]"

        Food for Thought:
There's a hefty cost in oil in order to produce appox. 100 bushels/acre of undiversified and soil depleating crops. Oil is needed for tilling, application of fertilizer, application of pesticide, amount of oil in the manufacturing of the fertilizers, pesticides, transport, and machinery, oil for irrigation, harvesting, drying, transport
This garden, 4.360 square feet, produced 6,000 lbs of diverse food in one year
