Good article about the man. As a book geek for nearly all my life, this man influenced me about as much as anyone else. I know others here will sympathize with me, and if you've read The Catcher in the Rye you can probably guess who by their rapport, but I identified with Holden Caulfield for a long time, and in some ways still do. Seems Mr. Salinger had a good and full life though, for the most part, but he will certainly be missed.

He left his mark, great writer. I remember reading The Catcher in the Rye 12 years ago or so and at the time had an impact, with all who he impacted his death in my eyes although unfortunate isn't sad but a good opportunity to thank him for his contribution to the world and those who he changed with his words. If only we all could do the same.
Good day Mr Salinger, you'll continue to live on in words.
