Agreed. My opinion is that that the vast majority of movies/documentaries exist as profit centers. I hate sitting in a movie that makes me feel like I am being manipulated by someone for a buck. This is one of the reasons I did not like Avatar, for me too many scenes felt like they were in the movie to simply showcase the 3D effect as opposed to support the story.

There was a story? All I remember is giant blue Indians fighting mechs who wanted some ore from World of Warcraft.
