So it's dropping in a few hours, anyone plan on playing it?? I am going to try it out. More customizable game play, new armor abilities, and a variety of new weapons, maps, etc. will make this an awesome 2 1/2 weeks.

3 games in on Halo Reach beta and the server implodes, couldn't handle the influx of nerds logging on.

I vote a big :down: to Reach. Ineffective weapons and packaging. Hopefully they pull a big over haul on it before it's released.

look i don't mean to nerd out but i'm probably the worst videogamer ever and if you think the weapons are ineffective, then you can't aim. or haven't used the ridiculously awesome sentinel laser

i fucking love reach, but then again i loved classic halo, and this is basically classic halo + years of experience and knowledge, in new form. and JETPACKS! yes there's things wrong with it but it's a beta. but even for that it's still tight

Am I the only one that is sick of halo after 3 of them already? Can't microsoft make a new game? Halo is old and worn the fuck out.

The same thing goes for Call of Duty at this point. It's a fun game, but it's the same game as the last 3. Make something new.

All you FPS kids need to learn quality over quantity and force game companies to figure out new ideas for once. I'm tired of playing the same shit over and over again, and then having xbox live say you need to pay another $15 for 4 new maps that are the exact same fucking shit as the other ones.

The same thing goes for Madden. Madden every year is the EXACT same game with players switching teams here and there... the difference is they MIGHT update a graphic here or there... and then they TAKE SHIT OUT from other modes. It's terrible.

All these franchises are getting old and annoying. Too many nerds enjoy the same shit over and over again.

I agree, I heard so many good things about Mass Effect and so I went to get it, I played it for like five hours and the game was absolutely trash. You do the same shit on every single planet and I was really pissed off. I can't imagine how it became so popular and they even made a sequel for it.

BTW what an appropriate name, they expect people to pay 15 dollars for a video game version of a sitcom clipshow. That IS a reach.

I haven't had a chance to try reach yet. It was down on the first day, and I haven't been home to check it out since.

I actually think I played the Halo 3 beta more than Halo 3 so it might be a good thing that I haven't played it yet.

Jerome - The needle rifle is almost impossible to kill with, and the dmr is nothing compared to the BR. The pistol is still very weak like H3 also.

The jump and general movement speeds have been reduced from Halo 3, along with these crappy COD like additions that no one will use... I hope that they will change it a lot before launch.
