The best new pc games

Okay so im looking for a new pc game to play along the lines of RPG Strategy games. Some good games as an example would be - Age of conan, Aion, Command and conquer, Starcraft. Any other fun games liek this that you can put alot of time into?

I just found my old copy of Pharoah/Cleopatra not too long ago, pretty fun city building sim even though it was made back in the early 2000's or late 90's I think.

Unfortunately there aren't too many good rts's out anymore.. the old ones were the best. Command and Conquer Red Alert, Starcraft, and Warcraft 2.

X-Com UFO Defense is one of the greatest strategy games of all time, and my favorite, easily. Also on sale on Steam (but today only) for like $1.24

Of course, there are ways of getting these that are less than legal, but I'm all for purchasing everything I play PC wise nowadays, so yeah.

I played a civ game, whichever one came out for ps3, sid meiers civilization revolution i think it was called. I put alot of time into it and could never really figure out how to win without letting all the time go out. In other words, it was confusing as shit. Are they all liek that?

mass effect 2 is an rpg like fps action shooter and imo is the best game ever invented in gaming history. OF course it was also voted best game at e3 in 2009 so that just speaks for itself another good game would be elder scrools oblivion which won e3 of 2007? not sure but just depends on what kind of rpg your looking for and what mixes. mass effect 2 I would try firrst though game is so addicting!

Mass Effect.. I tried the first one and I have to say it was boring as shit. I spent like three hours trying to find probes and mining rocks by traveling thirty minutes in a poorly controlled moon car only to find out that it was on top of a mountain and I had to find the correct path. And then I got it and had to enter a few controller buttons or found out I didn't have a high enough level to collect a piece of debris for some retarded reason. So then I got bored with doing that and decided to go blow up a moon base, unfortunately the moon base looked exactly like all the other bases on every planet out there except with a little bit of a different color, so after they would tell me why I shouldn't kill them I would go in and kill them all and try to find some sort of weapon and like every five bases my hurricane 2 might get upgraded with a hurricane 3 which was very clever on the game makers part. So pretty much I am glad I waited till it was 20 dollars before I got it.

XCOM 1 & 2 were the only good XCOM's, after that, all downhill.

According to my friend, who's played both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, he concurs that the first Mass Effect was boring as shit and never finished it. Though he's played through Mass Effect 2 and said it had a lot more action scenes in it and just an overall better game.

The new Command & Conquer sucked donkey balls. EA made it their duty to kill that line off it seems and they've done an outstanding job of it. Red Alert 3 sucked just as bad, almost, still a craptastic game. I'd just wait for Starcraft 2 if you're looking for a good RTS.

As far as RPG's go, there aren't many for the PC out there, at least as of right now. Everything for the PC is moving the way of the MMORPG genre. So, if MMORPG is your thing, then there is always World of Warcraft.

Honestly, I've been waiting for one game and one game only, and that's Diablo 3. Hurry the hell up Blizzard!

yeah i played about 5 mins of mass effect and decided it was boring, i may try mass effect 2 though. Also starcraft 2. As far as other games i liked, for the ps3, borderlands, fallout 3 dead space darksiders all amazing games.

Lets all be honest, the reason why mass effect was boring was because it was on 1280x1024 resolution.. that was really the game killer for me I mean come on.. its 2010.
