That was a terribly written article.

"The conservative judge who came off as a RAGING LIBERAL said that POOR PEOPLE blah blah blah" It was really hard to take it that seriously after reading that paragraph, and it sounds to me like honestly they did a modern age "tapping" of someone who was a suspected criminal, if they had a warrant this wouldn't even be newsworthy.
