Robo defense is a fun addictive tower defense app game

Also look up Paper Toss (that's free and addicting)

i don't like tower defense games so i don't really have any other games besides my GBA emulator and word feud. droid market sucks for games so far... umm for apps the main ones i use are advanced task killer, useless facts, weather channel, music wizard, movies, sportacular live scores, redbox, droid light, ES File explorer, pdanet, shazam, and zedge.

music wizard: a free app for downloading music. pretty handy.
advanced task killer: just keeps your phone running well, necessity.
droid light: flash light
PDANet: used for tethering (using your phone to connect your computer to the internet)
ES File explorer: an easy way to browse your SD card.
sportacular: live sports scores
movies: get movie showtimes/trailers etc
shazam: can identify any song
zedge: ringtones/wallpapers...dont really use it that much
GameBoid: GBA emulator

most of those are worth checking out. if you download word feud challenge me to a game!

The one I'm addicted to is the solitaire app, and then the Forty Thieves version because that game is frikken impossible. The other ones are the same as you find on your computer (solitaire, spider and freecell). I have Paper Toss, Robo Defense (same as tower defense really), mazeoid (pacman), Sudoku and Pinball but I don't really use those as much.

Also have Xkcd Viewer, which is fun to kill time.
Gesture Search is awesome (you need a touch screen though, I got the Nexus)
Goggles, you won't use it a lot, but I think it's awesome there is a google for photo's
Zumodrive is pretty neat, gives you some extra space for files.
Camera ZOOM FX, for various photo effects.
SlideIT Keyboard, for swyping

But I still haven't gotten around to really searching the apps.

Why not? I've had mine jailbroken for weeks. I've also never had any issues, nor has anyone I know who has it. Overhyped imo

You got that backwards, except the iphone is probably more than 4 times better than the nexus.


MM89 congrats on buying a good looking paperweight. Now compliment that by getting the 4 so you have a great smartphone to match that snazzy paperweight.

rofl, having used both phones, it's pretty obvious the Nexus is better. It's a lot faster, Froyo is a lot better than the Apple system and it looks better. In fact the best things of iPhone were all stolen from the Nexus. The only thing the iPhone has is that camera on the front, and honestly no one uses video call, it's been around for ages, and no one use it.

I've just read review after review trying to find something to back up what you said, but I can only find information that supports what I said. Even on the nexus one forum. The only advantage it has is that it's already unlocked, I will admit that alone is pretty cool. And the iphone copied everything from the nexus? Are you high? Pretty much every basic function of the nexus or other android shit can be traced back to the original iphone... And I'm not saying that as a knock on it, good ideas are always going to be "borrowed" and implemented by the competition, but for you to try to use it in your favor is pretty laughable

just got my captivate a couple weeks ago, i love it. not sure why people have heated debates over which phone is better, both the iphone 4 and androids are great phones. personally, i prefer my android

anyway, i've got nothing but free apps so far:

Robo Defense - favorite game to play. gets too easy once you unlock the warp tower and you've gotta pay to get past level 10
Super K.O. Boxing - pretty fun, takes up alot of space

Speed Skater
Poke a Mole - fun to let your friends try and beat your high score
PapiJump
Labyrinth Lite - 2nd favorite game, the 3d one sucks compared to this
Connect 4
BreakTheBlocks Lite
Fishin 2 Go (LITE)

Chess

Apps:
Calorie Counter - has pretty much every fast food place, restaurant
Color Flashlight - works well, DroidLight wouldn't work for me
DailyHoroscope
Fandango - movie times
Pandora - radio
PhotoFunia - fun to mess with your pics, can make it seem like you're on a billboard or a painting etc
ScoreCenter - game scores
Talking Tom - repeats your shit in a high pitched voice, my fiance loves this app cuz she's immature as fuck

should also get google maps, comes with free navigation and latitude which lets you add your friends and see where they are and track them down. pretty stalkerish, but a good app

and unless you're watching porn on your phone, i wouldn't bother downloading the anti virus, it takes up way too much battery life and from what i've read doesn't even really do much

My phone does that too mm. It's ducking annoying. How the fuck does swype work? I'm not denying that it does work, but when I see that commercial I just can't fucking figure out how it does.

On a side note, I know you can jailbreak the iphone and get any app for free, can you do that for the android? This isn't intended as an asshole comment, I'm legitimately asking. For the record it's called Installous to do it for the iphone.
