I don't think I've been around long enough to be considered a forum vet, but I have been gone a few months and have a few updates. My drunken hiatus that occurred after graduation has gradually come to an end after only about a year, and I'm starting to jump into the real world. I have a job with a local publishing company as a designer/illustrator, and am currently working pretty prolifically as both a children's book illustrator with some side work on formatting, marketing, and cover designs. My first official publication is about two weeks away. We have a lot of independent authors approaching us as an affordable means to self publication, so if you know of any aspiring writers who want to kick-start their careers, hit me up.

I'm working 12h night shift 4 days in a row now. In a place where you don't really work. You just sit and wait to go home. Makes you think a lot what this shit is all about. Going to school next year so I just need to know what I want to study now. Any thoughts? I need an education so I can get cool job with real people flee all these imbeciles. Without people who know they are going to spend the next 20 years at the same job, living in the same town.
Just some 4am thoughts.
