Yeah, its pretty bad when someone gets half of the vote in a three candidate race. He must be doing lots wrong that I don't know about.
Florida also elected the creepiest looking millionaire criminal in the history of US governorships. What's your point? The only reason he won is because he's young. McCollum would have had the GOP nomination in any year other than this one, but because Rubio is young and sucked off the Teabaggers he got himself elected. They're both (Rubio and McCollum) a part of the exact same Florida political machine (Blue Key) and are essentially the same candidate. One was just right time, right place, right teabagging.
Don't know who you are, vaped, but talk is cheap. Judging from your bong avatar and your newness to subspace you're probably a teenager. One day you may be able to see through some of the layers of bullshit people throw in your eyes.
EDIT: Got my teabaggers mixed up. Rubio still won for those reasons, it was just that McCollum was defeated by Rick Scott for governorship. Rubio surpassed Crist because of his teabagging abilities, Crist being a relatively non-controversial governor. Rubio was tapped by the GOP for a high office in Florida years ago because of his race. He's not going any higher than that, and frankly I would be surprised to see him serve more than a single Senate term. He'll probably parlay his political success into a lucrative lobbying job, a la Mel Martinez, the last great Hispanic GOP Hope of Florida.

1) Not a bong, how hard is it to put a name (vaped) and picture of a product together (vaporizer). But still, I guess since I'm an "evil stoner" or whatever your obvious hateful stereotype of me is speaks enough about your mindset here.
2) You have an awful judge of character of a random person on the Internet.
3) If you really , REALLY want to let people know about the shortcomings of a political candidate that is 2500 miles away from where they are located when they say something very basic like I did (on purpose, i.e. trolling), there are numerous more intelligent, productive and social ways to go about it rather than whatever you intended by this rant. Yes I see you have 5000 posts you probably "know all about trolling" and what not, but why get so upset that you have to edit the post because you mix up the facts? That's all I'm saying.
4) Try again? Lets settle down ... there are two more years to get pissed off about much more important political things.
I DO find Rubio to be an intriguing candidate, I wasn't trolling with that. However the edit in that post (young, smart republicans like that.....) was meant to be a troll attempt.
I have no problem saying I don't know anything about him beyond the basic acceptance speech I heard on Tuesday night -- I welcome all information about the candidate. Especially when one is trying to manuever himself into position for a presidential run so blatantly as he is.
In general, I want to know as much as I can about all up-and-coming candidates in both major parties, because these are the assholes who are going to try to fuck us in the years to come.
Wouldn't that be Poetic Justice, a black president lets illegal Mexicans into the country and lets them vote and helps them vote by funding Acorn, and then the republican party puts up a Latino looking candidate for president and he gets all the democrat mexican votes they worked so hard for and then he gets to cry racism if they don't talk about how historic it is to have American's first mexican or whatever he is president. And then republicans get to call all the blacks and liberals racist.

Meh, you could make up something like this for any president to show of some decent things, not really shocking that Acorn or some part of the Obama crew would use the internet to continue to produce propaganda showing some "bright" spots --- although I wouldn't really say the federal mandate of 35 mpg is good. Guaranteed the car companies aren't going to eat the costs of a government mandate. The car companies were already on a path to make their cars more efficient because they realized that's what the consumer wanted. Part of me feels this executive decision actually will make them take longer to make more efficient cars because "well the government says we don't have to until X date, lets save the $ for now".
I just feel it takes quite a bit of the power out of the hands of the consumer to force companies to change their course of business, because most corporations care about their Shareholders and their Consumers above all else and will bend over backwards to please them if they show they desire a change.
I could break down every thing on there but I don't have the time and I've probably already bored people with this so far.
Plz 2 keep in mind I don't think we've had a truly useful President for the PEOPLE for around a century. This isn't a republican or a democrat issue in my mind.
