Colossal fuckup.
They add bullshit like glamour photo shoots and go kart racing. Then are rushed at the last minute and have to leave out core elements like interior views and dynamic weather for all tracks/cars.

but is anyone else wondering when an actual realistic driving game is going to come out for the ps3? I am tired of this unrealistic go-kart shit. I want to drive a fucking lambo in realistic conditions and see a real goddamn lambo interior.

what do you mean? do you not know every profesional driver most likely started racing in karts? thus go karts in the beginning of the game is very realistic

and lets not speak about lambos and such...if one game does it well, its GT5

You think they are going to patch detailed interiors for 800 cars? From the sounds of it they have enough on their plate dealing with bugs.

These days most probably started out playing video games like GT. So maybe they should include a function where you can play a video game, whilst playing your video game? Or maybe a mode where you are sitting in the back of the family wagon watching dad change gears?
Point is GT is suppose to be cutting edge car racing simulation. If they want to add fluff that is fine, but not at the expense of the core game.
Oh another thing is the fucking GPS ghosting bullshit where you have to drive on one of the listed racing tracks, in real life, then you can race yourself in the game... I'm sure the 5 people who will use this feature will appreciate the tons of resources they invested into it.
