Notice anything strange with your electronics lately? The earth's magnetic poles shifted.

PS: This is what has been fucking up the birds' migratory paths, causing them to die in droves.

PS: This is what has been fucking up the birds' migratory paths, causing them to die in droves.
For decades, the magnetic north pole has been migrating from Canadian Arctic territory toward Russia. That shift has accelerated in recent years, and current estimates suggest that the pole is moving at almost 40 miles a year. Maps from Natural Resources Canada chart the movement since 1831 and project the trend through 2050. Movements in the magnetic poles are caused by the motion of molten iron at Earth's core, which serves as the planet's magnetic dynamo. Here's how NASA explains the process.
Airports generally change their runway designations every few decades, depending on how the pole shifts shake out numerically. For example, Stansted Airport in the London area renamed its 23/05 runway as 22/04 in July 2009 to reflect the magnetic shift. "It'll roughly be another 56 years before we have to consider changing it again," Trevor Waldock, head of airside operations at Stansted, told the BBC at the time.

If the poles suddenly started to this year, then I would be concerned But it's been constantly shifting since forever so I think it's just coincidence.

There are hundreds of birds on campus. They're everywhere. It's really strange - everything is covered in snow but there are still enough birds to wake me up in the morning because they're so goddamn loud.

The earth "wobbles" on it's axis; of course the magnetic poles shift constantly. If it dramatically moves out of this normal wobble pattern -- THEN we're fucked.
            Fuck it.

more and more fish and bird deaths, the stories are not stopping, you would have to be pretty fucking stupid to not be afraid of these instances. 100s of birds falling out of the sky at the same exact instant, and the newspaper says "they probably just ate too much) yes 100s of birds all ate too much at the same exact time, wtf?

Why be "afraid"? Am I concerned? Yes. Do I want to find out the reasons for these strange happenings? Yes. But I see no reason to be "afraid". If the Earth decides to get rid of us, what can you do? Just live as best you can and maybe find a way to continue your existence past an extreme environmental event.

And if it's the elitists screwing with us by engineering certain "disasters" such as the latest oil spill/cleanups as a form of population control or fear-mongering, being "afraid" is the last thing anyone should do. I say we'd better get pissed off, rise up and perform some old school justice on these pompous fuckers who seem to love finding ways to control the "common" man/woman. I think heads on pikes would be a good choice.

lol ... definitely not. All these things could very well be from natural causes as well .... super cold snaps in areas that don't see them often and what not.

The point is no one knows why these strange wildlife kill-offs have happened and it really, really needs to be researched throughly because it would be interesting to know why at the VERY LEAST.

At least we live in a time where most people will desire look at things and try to figure them out in a scientific manner as opposed to the past when things similar to these happened they freaked out and started sacrificing virgins.

People could be getting thrown into a volcano somewhere though... I wouldn't put it past some of humanity to still do shit like that. We do have these "God Hates Fags" wacko-evangelists from Kansas heading down to Arizona to protest the 9yr old's funeral because she's Catholic and they don't like Catholics because they allow divorces ... people are still pretty stupid, sadly. I hope I never see those people through my store.

Don't group up all religious people into the extremist category, that is fairly ignorant in its own right. And honestly there is only so much science can and will be able to explain before the end of times. I think it won't be too far off, probably not 2012 but go read Revelations and say some of the technology we have and are creating wasn't prophesied a few thousand years ago. I don't know if the animal deaths have anything to do with that but I doubt it, the overusage of corexit is probably to blame like Vatican said.

How is mentioning one group of wackos grouping all religion into one category?

Obviously most religion has come a long ways from it's past.

Also I'm a firm believer in this --- God gave us this glorious thing inside our heads called a brain to use to discover more about our world. It isn't a bad thing at all to do that. Sadly, for generations the leaders of the various religions have used their mental capacities to try and keep people down and use them to their personal gains. I don't think God would approve of that, sorry, and I'm sure those shitheads are paying for it, not the people they oppressed.

Science and Religion should stop being scared of each other. They both have quite a bit to learn and to gain from one another.

Yeah organized religion isn't my bag either, I just read The Bible and I would agree that most science ends up agreeing with The Bible except for a few things which could be explained through circular arguments. Anyways, whether you believe in science or religion eventually the world is fucked once a bacteria comes about that spreads quickly and is immune to antibiotics because idiot doctors just handed out pills like it wasn't going to cause problems not to mention the fact that it is in your meats and dairies.

Or a big fucking meteor is going to destroy the earth or either that and hit earth and end up polluting the water like it said in The Bible.

Or the big solar flare shit is going to destroy the planet with some sort of solar thing which will probably make the moon turn red like blood etc.

Sooner or later shits gonna hit the fan and considering science doesn't leave me an alternative for when it does I think I will trust in God on this one.

I haven't read the Bible since I was younger, and I plan on reading it again at some point. I'm in the middle of reading about Buddhism right now though. I've decided in the last few years that I need to learn more about all the world's religions, so I have lots of wild reading ahead of me there.
