LSU students chase off an attempted flag-burner

Not too long ago, a student stole a flag from a war memorial and burned it. the reaction was generally negative, the student was arrested, and someone else made plans to burn a flag as a statement to defend the earlier incident. but apparently he forgot this was LSU, not berkeley, and before he could even begin hundreds of students ran up on him and forced his police escort to have to usher him into a car, as people hurled water balloons, bottles, insults and the middle finger at him.

I read this the other day, and I feel like the same thing would happen on a lot of Texas campuses, where my wife works (oilrig engineering firm) they have two branches on in LA the other here in Houston, so everyone either went to LSU or A&M, gotta admit those LSU guys are some pretty cool people. Southern respect.
