Have you noticed how plots of the matrix and terminator r very similar? In both, men created AI, and the now intellegent machines stand up to humans. Only in termiantor theys eek to destroy human kind, but in the matrix they seek to use our race as energy source.

Hehe, both series kinda let you watch 2 different endings to the same beginning.

The Matrix has even more similarities and references with the Bible

btw the idea for the matrix was created a long time ago in a comic or some article, the Wachowski Brothers only developed the screenplay fully based on this idea.

you can't say terminator is ripping matrix... are you stupid? don't you remember the first movie? it predicted everything that is happening in T3... it's just following up on its OWN story

as for matrix, it was funny cuz i was watching this movie called "The Buddha" with Keanu Reeves in it, my brother told me he found a lot of similarities with its concepts and the matrix

for example, the buddha is "awakened" after overcoming difficulties, and then he meets "the architect"... well there's other stuff but i can't remember

anyway my point is T3's storyline is original - not to say that T3 will be any good, in fact like most delayed sequels (e.g. STAR WARS) it might blow. you never know, though.

EDIT: Yes, i know star wars was not a sequel technically, but you catch my drift.

the idea of the matrix is mostly based on Plato's philosophies, but the characters r mostly based on 'characters' from the bible, just to give it a nice story i guess. I like it. -_-

Don't know if you knew this, "Fudle Pucker", but the original Terminator came out in the 80's, and along with Ghost in the Shell, was a major influence for the Wachowski brothers when they wrote the Matrix.
