Parenting ( for those with kids )

I recently was over at my cousins earlier today and I went downstairs to see what my cousin was up to. He was watching three ninjas with his kids and i realized my cousin has been showing these types of movies of his generation to his kids like turtles,transformers and and early 90 stuff. I noticed that my buddy Kc does this as well.

So my question is for the forum parents who have children. Do you do this as well having your kids watch old shows you watched as a youngster/teen??

My kid hasn't watched much tv yet but when he does I plan on showing him older stuff mainly, this new shit is fucking gay and makes kids retarded. Teletubbies.. really?

I plan on some old sesame street, Mr. Rogers, animaniacs, tiny toons and all the old shows that were comedy gold and actually taught good non PC issues.

Yes I do, my daughter loves Ren and Stimpy I grew up on ren and stimpy, doug, and rugrats, I R baboon and the real power rangers. lol stuff like that. Netflix is awesome for archiving all the old cartoons, tv shows and movies $$

Ahh old cartoons. The young ones will enjoy the humour, the adults will realize the adult content in them that they didn't realize as a child!
