What are the forum rules? Because i feel like we all break them

there basically aren't any rules at this stage of the game. we kinda go by the general consensus that if you're being an idiot, and enough people are in agreement that you're being an idiot, then so long sally.

if you want something more spelled out, i think this is one of the more recent revision of the "official rules" and it's from 2008.

4. No linking to copyright material (Torrents, MAGNET Links, Streaming ect..). Discussion of P2P is allowed but practice common sense in regards to the above rule.

Normally I don't like hazy undefined rules, but if people like Jason are applying the discretion, I'm fine with that

It was hard enough being interested coming back here... my first impressions were: drama about the +/- system, 'violish' poll result in favour of it being legal, people making fun of people dying, some dude posting pictures of butts in every thread. I guess I'm not surprised, since these days causing people distress is cool, it's evident enough in the real world. (The butts aren't distressing, just monotonous, but whatever I guess everyone else enjoys that.) What I don't get is why people try to fix trolls by arguing back at them, obviously feeding the troll, it's like trying to clear up a shit stain by smearing it around as much as you can.

Then again, it's not like I have anything awesome to say myself, but it's just something I've always wanted to suggest.
