Okay, so I work at a chemical plant, and I'm a dispatcher/security/operations/jack-off-all-day-trades guy who either sits at a desk or a control room table, spends about 2 hours doing actual work, and the rest of the day I sit on the computer or do whatever college homework I might have. Basically, I have nothing to do for most of my day, and since I've been getting a LOT of overtime lately, life has been pretty boring.
I know quite a few of you guys have desk jobs, or computer-related positions at various companies, and I know quite a few of you come on forums at work, kinda like what I'm doing right now. I'm working midnights tonight, so I have absolutely nothing to do. I've had a few nights playing poker in the control room, but I can't leave my work-area for long periods, which is why I'm on the computer.
What kind of websites do you guys go to? Social-media sites are blocked, along with game websites (trenchwars.org is blocked, twforums isn't). I'm not trying to get fired, so proxies are out of the question, as is downloading subspace. I'm just wondering if there are any sites I've missed or can't think of. Youtube/espn.com works for me, but most sites are off limits, understandably (my boss couldn't care less if I go to unblocked sites though).
