beats aren't worth $300, but they are sure as hell not worth $20. they have decent low-end, are comfortable, and have many redeemable qualities (mute button, compatibility with iPhones, replaceable cord, customization ability). They are overpriced, but quality wise there are MUCH MUCH worse. I enjoy mine and people know to not talk to me when they are on, which is probably worth $300 in my book.
