Books to read

[Cops]

This is what I've been reading recently;

I tried reading a couple books from George R.R Martin's, A Song of Ice and Fire. I found them to be highly enjoyable, however I realized I do not have the stamina or attention span to read a 1000 page book. I also got bored with certain characters story lines, mainly Daenerys. I'd check them out if you think you can stick it out, otherwise just watch the show (you all are probably watching the show anyways, lol)

Yann Martel's, Life of Pi is worth reading. Creative and imaginative (I'm also biased, since he is a Canadian author)

John Steinbeck's, Of Mice and Men is a solid Novella. Most people read this in school, however I never got the chance. This is rather small but enjoyable, I finished it in a couple of one hour sittings.

Not a hunger games fan. I watched the movie and I thought it was ok. Not exactly my type of book. My nieces love them, though.

Well that was a failboat. I only came out of this actually wanting to read Warded Man, but I actually have to get a physical copy of that. Meh.

I didn't realize this was strictly fantasy, but my point stands. Best historical fiction book there is. Required reading for a few military branches.
