  • List of weird stuff

    Completely random. Large variety.

    Social programming: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnptoKQX-IU

    thoughts cause suffering: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_G31YW1ecX0

Keeping track of reality; being accurate.

    Concentrating (doing puzzles?)
    Chemistry. Omega-3 pufa.
Keeping the imagined frequency in the brain the same to recall the whole song.
    Poems.
    Memory.

    Self-control?
How to turn verbal imagery off?

    Hate=anger.
    Fear=avoidance.
How does this affect working towards a goal?
    stimulus-response...

    Desire for money: guilt.
    Desire: end result of action.
    Goal: reality.
    No desire = no goal.
    Emotion: influences our thoughts.
Church teaching: money = guilt, bad, not needed.
    Result: control, slaves, cheaper workforce.
    ...
The religious: want to be saved. Want to save others.
The religious: Makes time to preach. Does not make time to help others in unfortunate states.
Does not have faith to help others half-way around the world. Has faith in imaginary (not real) entity.
    ...
    Suffering is a teacher. (empathy?)
Religious is continued action through life (behavior) to obtain a (real) goal, but Christianity is merely a mythology in this sense. Who is religious about humanity?

Heathens worship the sun. Pagans worship the moon.
Sin = the moon god. Sin = wrong. To Sin is to be Pagan. To be Pagan is wrong.
Heathens once existed; back when Heathens = christian = relevant.
    ...
The world is ending. Predicted signs seen constitutes proof. Result: unity. Prevents people from leaving the organized religion.
Predicted signs = the opposite of their teachings. "When bad becomes good..."
The opposite of their teachings = other belief-systems.

The laws of Christianity = the steel rods of Hammurabi.

    Where do morals come from?

The bible = wealth of knowledge. Critical thinking must be applied.
The tree of knowledge; of good and bad. Critical thinking applied. I will write what I think about this later.
Countless other metaphors and events I have yet to apply critical thinking. I don't plan to.

    The media controls opinions.

    [Drone Army]
In his lab at Penn, Vijay Kumar and his team build flying quadrotors, small, agile robots that swarm, sense each other, and form ad hoc teams -- for construction, surveying disasters and far more.

In this powerful talk, P.W. Singer shows how the widespread use of robots in war is changing the realities of combat. He shows us scenarios straight out of science fiction -- that now may not be so fictitious.
