im online a ton, and your one of the few <ER>'s that i actually see hosting events....

not slighting on anyone here, and a couple others i notice like vehicle and goddess do actually host events...


but very few of the ones that seem to walk around wearing the <ER> actually seem to ever host anything anymore

i've heard one side of the story, and from what i've heard, adam should be back on staff. i've known him for a fairly long time now and i've never seen him abuse or be a bad staffer. i'd like to see him reinstated, or at least see someone show us a valid reason he was axed.

Whoever is going to post opposing to these people saying he shouldn't have been fired, or those who will post about the "legit" explaination of why adam was fired, please don't post any gay bullshit lies. It's just over, and you should have no such reason of acting as firing adam...the players liked him as both a friend and a staff member, he did his job, and we don't need to see Shit-Faced lies thrown out to try to cover up this lame act of firing him. It needs to be the truth, and not some idiotic reason to like make room for one of your friends to join the staff...because I doubt any people would like them as much as ol' adam <ER>. I vote reinstate him as a staff member, put this all behind us, and work out whatever grudge/problems you have had with him. Don't give us lies, be honest, and be reasonable.

Had I been smod I would have axed him and I can tell you why. I knew Adam would be fired. He was not staff material. I will try to go over the reasons as I see them. Why the actual smods axed him.. I don't know because I haven't asked yet.

Keep in mind that there were probably numerous complaints to the SMods by various staffers, including myself, about Adams conduct. Here are the potential reasons for Adam being axed (keep in mind PUSHERs email which also gives insight).

Adam nearly constantly caused problems on staff chat and on the yahoogroup. He argued with Weaver, Cyber Strike, Goddess, Stalfos, Malice Mutt, and many more people.. ZHs, ERs, mods, it didn't matter. Most staffers ended up arguing with one person, and one person only: Adam.

I remember many times either on staff chat or on the yahoogroup where I had to tell him and whoever he was arguing with to STFU. Nobody should have to remind a staffer that they are a staffer and should act with some level of maturity.. A day after I would get Adam and whoever he was whinning at/with to STFU (on the staff yahoogroup) I would get ?messages from staffers telling me, basically, 'thank god you shut them up'. That is how bad he was.

I would also like to point out that he was suspended for causing too much trouble with other staffers. Even after this Adam did not wise up.

Adam tries to make it sound like Cyber Strike caused problems. Maybe CS did, and maybe he should be removed too, I don't know so I'm not going to comment on that. I am mentioning it here only because it was brought up earlier so we should all be aware of that. I do know removing Adam was a step in the right direction if staff is going to become more respectful and mature.

There is also the myth that Adam was an amazing host. TW.org has been recording how much ERs have been hosting for months now.. It shows the top 5 from each month. I just checked... He didn't rank in the top 5 four times, he was first once, and fourth twice. Not amazing, not by a long shot. Compared to the real greats of hosting, Left_eye, Erathia, it isn't that amazing.

Can hosting even make up for being a poor staffer? No, not at all. We also have to keep in mind that if we decide to keep him the next step is mod, and is he mod material? Absolutely not.

One time he was playing as Soul in the same arena as me.. He told me he was going to team kill someone. I don't have the disscussion logged but he was basically asking me if I would ignore it and let it slide if he team killed someone. I said no I would warn him so he didn't TK anyone.

There was another occasion where he gave other players the pass for one of his nicks so they could play in TWD. This is against the rules in TW. He mentioned that he had done this on staff chat one day. The worst part is he seemed to see nothing wrong when PUSHER was talking to him about it. He made some claim about the bots being broke that week or something to that effect. There is no excuse for blantantly breaking the rules like that. When the bots are broken we need our staff looking out for cheaters, not joining in the cheating!

Staffers need to follow the rules, act respectful, and work as a team. Adam did none of that. I want to see more people punnished for conduct like Adams, I do not want to see him back on staff.

His defense is phoney and focuses only on the Cyber Strike issue, which is just a minor part of the much larger picture. He claims to be surprised that he was axed, and thought he was doing a good job. He was suspended once, so that can't be true! Surely that must have been a hint to wise up, and he never did.

THE PUSHER has a strong hate for Adam, I see this as a quick way to get rid of Adam with a somewhat reasonable excuse. Adam did his job and put up with alot of people who use to provoke him in staffchat. It's kind of ironic that what Adam got axed for is what he put up with.
