As I see it most people want to stay in their "safe zone" and succumb to societies social and cultural pressures which is so boring and shallow to me. This study also only samples people who are doing online dating which is a certain fringe element of the population in itself. I was always much more interested in the personal interaction and the energy I get from an individual then their race and supposed status in life. I dated almost every type before.. whites, latino's, blacks, middle eastern .. never dated an asian though for some reason. Have some good asian friends though. Also a lot of this depends on where you live and what you are exposed to. Being in an urban environment all my life has given me many more opportunities to mingle then if I had grown up in a rural small town country setting. Just my 2 cents..
