You probably have heard of the phrase, "death and taxes are the great equalizer," and it is absolutely accurate.
We all come from different backgrounds, ethnicity, religion (or lackthereof), social class, and so on. However, these variations provide us with multicultural diversity and a massive advantage in creation and innovation.
One of the biggest historical benchmarks in human history is when Christopher Columbus discovered the new world (though new evidence suggests that the Vikings arrived earlier).
His discovery paved the way to colonialism and subsequent bridging of the western and eastern hemisphere, thus providing greater sharing of knowledge and creativity.
The problem with this world is that there are ignorant people who don't understand how the world actually works. Their brain capacity cannot handle logic and reasoning, so they continue to taint the world with their closed-mindedness.
I have observed the activities in Trenchwars, and particularly, there is a lot of racial tension and hate speech toward black people (dark-skinned folks to be politically correct). Unfortunately, TW staff have been condoning this sort of activity for years and regretably, it has significantly lowered the game's standards.
Keep in mind that we are all humans. Everyone has sorrow, happiness, hopes and dreams.
Ultimately, we will be 6ft under the soil :\.
