How to insert image onto a thread?

Really outdated question, but never understood how. Copying/pasting doesn't work. The insert image button doesn't work. Any other ways?

Try attachments.. I think they need to be approved but is one way to do it. Also in images I used advanced then do image icon.. click box offered and insert url address. Coding in here confuses me too banks but try those two ideas for a starter. Others maybe have better ideas. But both the ways I explained worked for me.
