A long time ago..
Around 2010.
Battlefront II had it's multiplayer removed completely (we all know the Alliance was behind this), forcing users who still wanted to play online to use GameRanger.
The Empire struck back today and the Alliance fell to its knees in defeat. No longer shall we be succumb to using 3rd party support to play online!
Those days are gone!
Multiplayer has returned folks!! Epic 64 player battles are now available for you to indulge with your friends/family, in one of the greatest Star Wars games ever created.
I urge you to check it out, right now GOG has it on sale for 3.99 and Steam has it for 9.99 (USD). Multiplayer functionality is available for both GOG and Steam players, with crossplay support, so it's a matter of preference.

Tonight I will be slaughtering droves of all those who stand in the light, who rebel against the Empire, in relentless fashion! Death to all REBEL SCUM I say! Ewoks, jedi's, wookies or anything that looks cute will all perish by my hands! Long live the Empire!
