I work at a nuclear power plant so I didn't notice any outage until I tried getting gas on the way home, and couldn't. This didn't come as a surprise to me. A few weeks ago there was a problem on the grid where the frequency of some plants out of new york or up north in canada was too low. Demand was getting out of control.

omg gerbil, i was thinking about that too, and I've come to my conclusion that if something like this would be suddenly premanent and the whole world went dark, I would have my fun and then OD on drugs, because I know I can't survive with the luxuries I have today.

hey buddy, people always point fingers, no matter what, canada blames the US, vice versa. no biggie. Don't need to say we;re that arrogant or ignorant. I feel sry for people in toronto and such, i hear they have it much worse. But to be honest, the people in iraq have it the hardest, they have blackouts everyday for the same extent of time it was for us. Their weahter conditions are far worst as well, with temperatures going above 105 F easily.

Oh, I got power back Friday morening at 9 AM, I went without power for 14 hours. My friend just got their power back 8 PM, so I feel lucky =D
