  • Could it be ....

Our eyes are designated to perceive the spectrum of energy that corresponds to that of our suns.
Our ears hearing range corresponds to that of the most important sound waves surrounding us (i.e. human voices).
Our noses are able to detect smells that occur most in our enviornment.

    This got me thinking ...

Could it be, our brain are designated only to be able to interpret the things that are close to us (by close, I mean with in 100 light years range) And there are stuff in the fur depth of the universe that we are not be able to comprehend???

i always wondered, if colour was the way the light bounced off an object, if there was no light at all, does that mean that it would be nothingness? :P

color is an illusion, our brains creat color...that doesn't mean that the molecules in an object have different properties regarding to light though

the whole dealy about us sensing other things far away...we only sense the things that we need to sense (we being our animal side)

we can't sense gamma rays or x-rays or anything like that, but we have instruments to detect that and interperet in a way in which we can understand...telescopes are usually hooked up to those things also

so yes, we still sense most of them, although i'm sure there are things we can't sense with any of our instruments, only by observation..like anti-gravity or dark matter
      Ну вот...

Uhh.. if there were no light at all, there would be darkness. The object would still be there. "Color" is just the frequency of the light that an object reflects (the frequencies that an object reflects or absorbs depend on its molecular properties.)
