Everyone should participate and talk like a pirate all day on September 19th. No matter what you do, talk like a pirate. I am sure some of you already do, but now we have a day set aside for such.

According to my friend, he had overheard this on the radio. He informed me of this and told me it was a real holiday. The Supreme Court (I'm not sure which court he said) passed a law or something of some sort, and actually made it into a holiday. I'm not sure, someone can clarify this after reading the entire website.

It all started with just two guys, who advertised a lot, and gathered a large following. Well you will just have to read the website, and I hope we can celebrate on this day with something special, like a Pirate Play in a Palace somewhere. I don't know, but I just hope everyone gets to read.

Being British, Southern and living inbetween hundreds of farms in the middle of nowhere, with nothing to do but chew grass, i already talk like a pirate! whidh is why i wanan be on the TW radio! to share the humour of me!

anyway, you can bet i'll be doing it. although it wont be a change from normal around my area... maybe my town saw started by pirates

My friends and I are going to make "Talk like a pirate!" T-shirts and wear them around school to hype it. I swear, it will be a nightmare for our English teachers.
