I played the demo, and was very impressed. Dunno about options, but they're using some sort of polygon/voxel hybrid engine that handled 3-D terrain deformation pretty well. Graphics are a little chunky by, say, Doom 3 standards, but gameplay looked to follow in the idiom of previous worms games (I.E. cute, witty destruction on an epic scale). The sheep is still the coolest weapon, all though it would've been nice to see the ninja rope in the demo.

i think turn-based gameplay is the whole thing about worms that makes it great...

i dont think they would put a non-turn-based mode in... (but thats just me)

you guys got the crappy leaked demo too. don't judge the game til the offical one comes out. they're gonna put in more crap to it controls better

No.

Its bascially, you have a team of worms (mine are all current TWL squads -- i blast the shit out of teams i dont want to win as a voodoo thing) and you use all these power ups like guns, ropes, parachutes, beams, missiles, air strikes, donkeys (you heard me) carpet bombs, etc to blast the shit out of the other team. Last team standing wins
