TT vs. WRX

What do you think , who would win (in a staright away or in traffic) which do you like better. ????

I'm going to say this right out before some smart ass posts in. We're gonna rate these cars as THEY JUST CAME OFF THE SHOWROOM, NO ADDONS, NO MODS. AND - BOTH CARS HAVE DRIVERS OF EQUAL SKILL.

With that said... I'd go w/ the Subaru WRX. I'll lay down some stats later to prove or disprove my selection.

For racing style, i'd go with the WRX.

Depending on which models you're comparing, if you're considering low or high end models of both cars I suspect the WRX would be much more potent. A TT quatro vs. a WRX Sti should be no contest afaik, but then again I have never and likely will never drive either, so wtf do I know. =]

Alright Basic package no funky sports suspension or extra turbo gadgets or phat tires .... just the plain ol Cars

i'd take the TT because it's a much more sleek looking car, personal preference only.

But i wouldn't hesitate to drive either.

if both are basic
then id choose TT...its lighter and its shape is more aerodynamic

but if both are the higher ends..
then wrx sti for sure .... 300/300.. its just nuts

The WRX has a flat 4 engine design which enables it to deliver a lot more power efficiently, but the TT already has a turbo system in it with a lot more development in it so my choice would be the TT and like most on here I would take either.

Its an option, not mandatory. But I see most WRXs with the turbocharge installed, so I'm guessing its the popular choice.

Plus, I see only asians driving the STi.
For rally cars, its all about the subarus and mitsubishis.
I drive a rally gt mitsu lancer.

I think TTs are ugly as shit. But a base TT would probably beat a base WRX, although I don't see too many people buying the base model of WRX.

If you put the amount of money into a WRX that you'd need to buy a base TT, the WRX would absolutely crush it.

Good point to buy them for the same amount of money the WRX base = 35400$ Canadian) and the TT (49000$) The WRX would be like a Turbo rocket........

And my bad the WRX does come with some niffty Turbo stuff.

I went to the sites of both and got the numbers for both of them and I guess I was looking at the TT a little while back when it was a little more costly.

But I still like the transmission in the TT better.

But the body kit on the mitsubishi lancer looks a hella lot better than it can ever be on the WRX. Its a pity.

The TT is a work of art.. beautiful car... but in a quarter mile, a WRX STi would crush it.
