ios it possible to run multiple "databases" off of one database?

like, have a table that has info for a forum, then have extra rows that are for something esle, like a blog system

Every database can support multiple tables. Think of each table as it's own "database" in that it holds specific information which can be exclusive to all the other tables in the database.

i suggest a full install of oracle 9i (10g for my part) for that table.. be sure to increase the storage to some gigs.. And to increase the speed, put indexes on every column in the table.
