10 is a special number because humans are lazy. thats why we invented a number that's easy to add, subtract, divide, multiply, whatever. That also proves, that since Americans use a system that doesnt even have a pattern, they are not lazy, but hardworking people.

The reason base 12 is more of an optimal system is 12 factors easily into 1,2,3,4,6,12.

We use the base 12 too... (think time, months etc ) It's has been the base of some ancient people (too lazy too look it up)
