The fact that there are two hockey teams in Florida and none in Winnipeg.
People who pronounce the first syllable of "schedule" like "shed".
Reality TV.
People who don't hold doors open for other people, especially those people who open doors just wide enough for them to slip in and have it close in front of the person behind them.
On the subject of doors, when you have a group of people trying to go through a set of doorways, only one door gets opened and everyone tries to trudge through that one while noone even bothers to open one of the other doors.
People whose last words you ever hear from them are "I just want to be friends".
People who shouldn't be wearing tight revealing clothing yet still do.

I can answer both of your questions. The left headlight isn't brighter, a lot of them just aren't angled properly, so they shine right in the oncoming traffic's faces instead of downward.

People don't take them offroad because they're not really meant to be taken offroad, they're forty thousand dollar mini-vans. Except for the old school hummers (a lot of the new noes have sacrificed function for luxury, because that's what the people really want) and personally I've never heard anyone buy a hummer and then complain about gas mileage, but if anyone has actually done that, they should be shot.
