The only 3 hip-hop songs I currently have on my hd are by Atmosphere...some quality beats there

atmosphere is alright, but when slug freestyles it's annoying, which sucks because sage does a lot of freestyles with him.

Well since you didn't see my openmindeness in this reply, let me spell it out.

I read your post the first time, and what I got from it I didn't see anything like "if you're new to listening to hip hop, check these guys out" which is basically what I was asking of you in that reply.

Yung, what do YOU suggest a newbie hip-hop listener check out to get immersed with the genre. Just fork over a few song titles, I'm not looking to buy an album. Mind you, these songs could easily shape my opinion about hip hop from now on.

Do I have to emphasize -again- that downloading entire albums to avoid buying the CD is what I am against? Because typing that over and over is kind of annoying.

I think that's ok, as long as you copy it one track at a time, if you do the whole thing all at once, it's stealing.

All right. I'll stick to what I've said in the past. I won't -sample- the genre, I'll keep my opinions close-minded because downloading one or two songs is bad, according to Conc and BZ.

Even though I never said that downloading a single song is wrong, they seem to think it is...so I'll respect their opinions and not download a single song. As for yung's opinions about hiphop, I guess I'll have to respect them for what they are, and I'll never get to listen to what he considers good hip hop.
