I downloaded School of Rock using Bit Torrent... two days later I get this e-mail from a company claiming to represent Paramount. They said they had placed the file, which was encoded with a traceable tag, up on www.suprnova.org and knew that I had downloaded it. The e-mail went on with a bunch of legal jargon, but the gist of it was that I was to remove the file within 24 hours or face legal action.

napster sucks. each of their files are encoded with a security feature that automatically corrupts the file if you burn it more than once or twice, and if you try to move them from computer to computer.

tired of the RIAA? more like, the RIAA runs napster and have invented new ways of leeching money while screwing consumers.
