Un-freaking-believable! Super Mario 3

I once saw a guy finish the original Mario in just under 15 minutes. He used all the warps and he didn't die once until 10 seconds from the very end when he got downgraded from the really big mario to a smaller one (and then he found another feather right away). It would have taken him less time but he decided to go to some secret rooms to get coins for some reason
It was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen.. and yes this was in real life.Epinephrine's History of Trench Wars:

I found the awesome Mario 1 video, but it's in a non-standard format. You have to play it in the Famtasia emulator.
Here, I made a nice package to let you guys watch it.
http://www.angelfire.com/alt/stabwound/famtasia.zip
Unzip that and then follow these simple directions:
1. Double click on famtasia.exe
2. Drag the mario.nes file into the emulator window, or open it through File->Open
3. Next, click Edit->Movie->Play then click on the "..." button and locate the mario.fmv file which should be in the included in the /fmv/ directory of my zip file.
4. Click OK and enjoy.
It's really damn awesome how he exploits all those glitches. My personal favorite is the "goomba trick" in the 2nd level.sdg

That would be a great plan if it wasn't for the whole "non-standard" format thing.
.fmv isn't even a movie file. It's a recording of a series of controller presses which makes the emulator play the exact same thing every time.
So you can stop trying to be Mr. Know-it-All, kthx.sdg
