  • Virus Scanners

If those stupid ass companies like MCAFEE wants to eliminated viruses, why must we PAY?!?! SHOULDN'T SHIT LIKE THIS BE FREE TO THE PUBLIC? WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY TO REMOVE A VIRUS FROM MY COMPUTER? IF THEY DON'T WANT THAT VIRUS FROM SPREADING AROUND, WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY? STUPID PIECE OF SHIT.

Anyways. I got a problem with my shitty comp. I believe there is a virus on my comp that causes it to freeze up CONSTANTLY at random times. At first (after starting up comp), everything is normal. Then after a normal amount of usage, everything starts skipping and you are forced to close all your applications because of how much it freezes. I scanned using some online freescan and It appears that I had the "Downloader-FM" virus which was NOT in their stupid shitty virus database. I tried deleting the file of the virus which i located using the online virus scanner but to no avail, the freezing persists. Any tips?

This has always worked for me.

                http://securityresponse.symantec.com/

To scan and see what you have just click on the security risks picture in the lower right under removal tools and follow the links.

Then click view all virus threats on the main page, choose what the virus scan found, and it will either supply a downloadable tool to fix it, or step by step instructions on how to remove it. I've had 2 viruses on my computer and got one removed each way with no problems.

Uh you may have a problem because I can't find Download FM listed, but I mean if Symantec doesn't have it listed that sounds weird. If I were you I'd just do a virus scan using their scanner and maybe it has a different name.

Okay. I tried at it with one of the mentioned scanners above and here was my results:

                    ugh

I went on and deleted the files manually since I don't got an UPDATED scanner that can do it for me. Now there is just waiting. I'll try out the other scanners when I get back home from school or something. THANKS GUYS. YOU GUYS OWN.
