The anime?
Haven't seen it yet, but a couple of my pals have recommended it. An upcoming redesign of the Ämerican flag will feature the new name in burnished silver wrought in a jagged, gothic font and bolted to a black background. A new national anthem is also in the works, to be written by composer Glenn Danzig and tentatively titled "Howl Of The She-Demon."

Yes, the anime. I just watched the whole series with a few friends, and I'm floored. I love it! I want to go back and read the manga now. :]

The soundtrack is amazing, the story is so so. The art's pretty neat, but that insane church guy doesn't get nearly enough screen time.Comment

Overall, the series is fantastic - but the quality of the shows does significantly decline after the first episode.

Hellsing was a pretty great show I have to admit.

I just didn't like the ending so much as I think the show could have easily been made into like 8 episodes instead of 13... that said it was good while the momentum kept going

I just downloaded the soundtrack for Hellsing too it's pretty rad... There's much better anime out there though. Hellsing was an early effort by Gonzo (production studio), and I have to admit their newer stuff is much better. Still Hellsing has one of the best dubs I've ever heard (I downloaded 2 episodes of the English version after I saw it subtitled in Japanese and was pleasently surprized).

If you like vampires and anime, I'm watching one now called Shingetsutan Tsukihime and it's damn cool... 10/13 episodes have come out so far on bittorrent as it's still airing in Japan.

Hmm Hellsing is nice for its style and music but...just missing something, i mean besides of plot too. Concerning vampire themed anime, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is so much better

First movie, not mentioned by me, is indeed kinda shitty because its way too old for present time.
But VHD: Bloodlust has top notch graphics, animation, music, style, plot. Even high review rankings is you wish.
The fact that you didn't personally like it doesn't make it shit, duh

That's why I started with "Disagree strongly" dipstick. In an art discussion anything said by anyone is automatically construed as an opinion (aside from the obvious factoids involved in the work's production).
