No, it wouldn't.

What it would do is ruin sex for everyone because teachers would start grading the sex. After we all heard "Oh, that was about a C" a few times, we would quit finding sex so great.

This is exactly what has happened with 'learning', by applying grades we have taken something that is intrinsically fun and desirable and turned it into something that most people hate.
