        Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and call bullshit on that. Rice was the provost at Stanford University for several years until she took a leave of absence in '99 for research and to work for the Bush campaign, whose headquarters were in Austin, TX. I can't find any proof that she was living in Florida in 2000.
